About Me

If you are thinking about reaching out for support — whether for yourself, your relationship, or your family — I want you to know that you have come to the right place. I have spent the past 18 years working with people navigating some of life’s most challenging moments. I am here to help.

I was born in Australia but spent much of my early life overseas, living in the Philippines and Scotland. Growing up across different cultures gave me a deep curiosity about people — about the way we connect, the way we hurt, and the way we heal. That curiosity led me to study psychology, and eventually to complete a Master of Mental Health in Family Therapy. I returned to Australia with a hybrid accent and a genuine appreciation for the diversity of human experience that shapes everything I do in the therapy room.

My career began in Queensland’s statutory Child Protection system, where I spent eight years working directly with children, parents, and families in some of their most difficult circumstances. That work gave me a grounded, practical understanding of the complexity of family life and what people really need when things get hard. Over time I moved into community-based family therapy, couple counselling, and private practice. As a registered Psychologist with AHPRA and a Clinical Family Therapist, I offer evidence-based psychological treatment for a full range of mental health concerns.

I work with individuals, couples, and families. I am warm, engaged, and bring a genuine sense of humour to my work. I believe that therapy works best as a real partnership — you bring the knowledge of your own life and experiences, and I bring clinical expertise and a structured process. Together, we work as a team toward the changes you want to make.

If you are ready to take the first step, I offer a short 10-minute phone consultation — a no-obligation conversation to see whether working together feels like the right fit.

Couples Therapy

  • Every relationship has its difficult seasons. If you and your partner are stuck in conflict, feeling disconnected, struggling to communicate, or facing a crossroads about your future together - couples therapy can help.

Family Therapy

  • Families are complex, and the difficulties that affect one member rarely stay contained to just one person. If your family is experiencing conflict, communication breakdown, stress around a child's behaviour, or the strain of a major transition - family therapy can help everyone involved find a way through together.
